Job summary

Qualifications

• Sixty college credits and one year in enforcement of municipal codes or three years of related experience.
• Must possess two certifications from the Florida Association of Code Enforcement (FACE).
• Valid Florida Driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Issue warnings and written notices of violation and enforce regulations.
• Conduct field inspections of buildings, premises, and marine-related facilities.
• Testify in court and before boards; prepare testimony and documentation.
• Direct, train, and evaluate entry-level code officers in the field.
