Responsibilities include reviewing permits for compliance, handling notices and citations, preparing case files, and supporting court proceedings.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of code application and enforcement.
• Ability to prepare accurate, complete reports and oral presentations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read maps, plats and blueprints for code compliance.
• Ability to use GIS and parcel maps for property navigation.

Responsibilities

• Identify and address code violations as the first point of contact.
• Collect data, prepare reports, and present findings in court proceedings.
• Communicate regulations to the public; conduct site inspections.
• Review permits for compliance and investigate zoning and land-use concerns.
• Issue notices of violations and maintain case files with documentation.
