Job summary

The Windsor Court is seeking a motivated Polo Lounge Server to deliver outstanding guest service in a luxury hotel setting. You will provide timely beverage service, maintain professional appearance, and contribute to a positive first and last impression for guests.

Responsibilities include handling guest requests, resolving issues, maintaining knowledge of menu items, and ensuring room and lounge cleanliness while complying with safety procedures and liquor service guidelines.

The Windsor Court seeks a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a cocktail server. As a Polo Lounge Server, you will be responsible for providing outstanding service to our guests, ensuring a positive first and last impression by maintaining a professional, pleasant, and helpful attitude while fulfilling guests’ needs.

Responsibilities

• Take and fulfill guest beverage requests in a timely and accurate manner
• Address and resolve all customer problems in an efficient and effective manner
• Responsible for maintaining high product knowledge
• Bus tables as necessary
• Maintain cleanliness of all Polo Lounge and surrounding areas
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
• Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
• Ensures tips are reported correctly for tax processing
• Attempts to limit problems and liability related to customers’ excessive drinking by taking steps such as discontinuing alcohol service and notifying management of potential problem(s)
• Ensure compliance with state and federal age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a server or in a similar role
• One year Bartender/Server in a luxury setting preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
