Job summary

Kinsley Power Systems is seeking a team-oriented bar professional to deliver cocktails and excellent guest service in a fast-paced setting. You will greet guests, take drink orders, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining bar cleanliness and proper alcohol handling.

Fluency in English, ability to work nights and weekends, and at least 21 years old are required. Prior cocktail server experience is preferred; flexible scheduling and teamwork are essential to succeed.

Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Provide proper and professional cocktail service to all guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner resulting in guest satisfaction.
• Promote and document orders for drinks, reciting selections of all “call,” and “premium” brands as requested, pass on order to Bartender, properly garnish and deliver to guest in a timely manner.
• Always maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest areas and equipment including removing empty glasses/bottles, cleaning ashtrays, emptying garbage, sweeping/mopping floors, scrubbing/sanitizing equipment, etc.
• Maintain proper and adequate set-up of bar daily, before, after and during shift.
• Listen and respond to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice.
• Interact with co-workers and customers in a professional and polite manner.
• Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Candidate must be able to communicate in English, both in written and oral form.
• Ability of simple reading, math, writing and task completion skills is required.
• Must have the following skills: clerical, compiling, coordination, analyzing, precision working, following instructions, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES

• Must obtain and maintain appropriate licensing with the Alcohol Awareness Card.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Previous cocktail server experience preferred or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• While performing the duties of this job, the team members are constantly standing, walking, reaching overhead, bending over, crouching, kneeling, and balancing during the duration of their shift.
• Must be able to constantly lift/carry 25lbs or less.
• The team members will constantly have repetitive use of both hands including light and firm/strong grasping motions. Finger dexterity of both hands will be constantly required.
• Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.
