Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a beverage service associate in Morgantown, United States, to deliver prompt, courteous service to casino guests and maintain beverage standards.

You will use the POS system, monitor alcohol intake, and collaborate with servers, barbacks, and supervisors to ensure efficient operations. A high school diploma is required, plus license and certifications as applicable. Starting salary is listed with benefits in the Total Rewards package.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma/GED.
• Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules.
• Ability to perform basic math and present information to guests.
• Ability to operate POS systems.
• Must qualify for Pennsylvania state racing licensing and board credentials.
• Must obtain food handler and RAMP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous beverage service to casino guests.
• Maintain knowledge of PLCB and RG standards.
• Be knowledgeable about alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and trends.
• Monitor guests’ needs and fulfill requests promptly.
• Accurately and efficiently use the POS system.
• Monitor guests' alcohol intake per policy.
• Assist other beverage staff with side work and opening/closing duties.
• Work as part of a casino operations team to ensure smooth service.

• Responsible for prompt, efficient and courteous beverage service to casino guests in accordance with HCPN policies, procedures and standards.
• Responsible for knowledge of PLCB and RG standards.
• Responsible for knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and awareness of new drink trends.
• Monitors guests needs on a continuous basis and ensures all requests are promptly fulfilled.
• Responsible for accurate and efficient use of POS system.
• Monitors guests alcohol intake in accordance with RAMP training
• Assists other beverage personnel with maintenance such as side work, opening/closing duties.
• Participates as a team member with all servers, bartenders, barbacks, supervisors and any other casino personnel to ensure efficient operations.

• Must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions (i.e., written, oral, etc.).
• Ability to operate POS Systems.
• Must qualify for a license with the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission and meet any credentialing requirements of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
• Must be able to obtain proper food handler certification and RAMP certification.
