Job summary

The Waterfront Beach Resort, a Hilton Hotel, in Huntington Beach, CA, is seeking a hospitality professional to join our team as a server/bartender. You will greet guests, explain specials, take orders, and ensure accurate POS entries while maintaining station cleanliness throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of bartending or serving experience required.
• Guest relations/service experience in a similar environment preferred.

• Greets guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explains specials, promotions and suggests at least one drink and food item from the regular menu.
• Takes orders, reciting each order back to the guest; requires memorization of all available drinks.
• Inputs orders into point-of-sale system correctly, including any special requests and/ or allergies.
• Replenishes beverages as requested, frequently checking back with guest to inquire about satisfaction.
• Present the guest with the check promptly, thanking them and inviting them to return.
