Job summary

The Waterfront Beach Resort, a Hilton hotel, is seeking a dedicated restaurant support role in Huntington Beach. You will quickly clear tables, reset silverware, and maintain stations to ensure smooth service across meal periods.

You will also assist with beverage service to enhance the guest dining experience. Ideal candidates have at least one year of restaurant experience, with emphasis on organization and follow-up.

• Well organized, detail-oriented, with excellent follow-up skills.

• Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting.
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen and condiments.
• Serve guests with beverages, breads and butter to begin their dining experience and replenish as necessary. Assist server with food & beverage service to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Transport all dirty tableware from restaurant to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting. Promptly and consistently reset all silverware as prescribed.
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen and condiments. Wipe down booths and chairs, move tables and chairs, and clean floors as necessary.
• Serve guests with beverages, breads and butter to begin their dining experience and replenish as necessary. Assist server with food & beverage service to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Transport all dirty tableware from restaurant to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.

WHAT YOU BRING

• One year restaurant (food industry) experience preferred. Well organized, detail-oriented, with excellent follow-up skills.
