Maverick Gaming LLC is hiring in Colorado for a server/barback role with a $1,000 sign-on bonus and performance-based tip payouts. Pay starts at $16.27 per hour plus tips, with two weeks of PTO annually and eligible health benefits after 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock bars for shifts and take beverage orders.

• Balance cash at shift end and maintain clean work areas.
• Upsell food and beverages to patrons.
• Prepare requisitions and perform end-of-shift inventories.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensure the bars are set up for the shift, cleaned and stocked.
• Takes beverage orders from the customers and servers and ensures all drinks are rung in before any are prepared.
• Follows the standard drink recipes, using the proper glassware and portions.
• Adheres to all the laws pertaining to the serving of alcoholic beverages and dealing with guests.
• Intoxicated persons must never be served.
• Balances cash at the end of their shift and follow the standard procedure for cashing out.
• Keeps bar, counters, and work areas clean always.
• Upsells food and beverage to patrons.
• Prepares requisitions and inventories as required at the end of the shift.
• Locks up product when necessary.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have previous serving experience and knowledge that includes:

• High School education or equivalent experience
• Six months experience as a server preferred
• Prior money handling experience preferred
• Ability and willingness to work at both the Central City and Black Hawk properties
• Must be flexible to work any schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• TIPS Certification – We will train you!

Salary $16.27+ tips
