Maverick Gaming in Central City, CO is seeking a full-time bartender/server to provide outstanding service, manage drink orders, and uphold bar standards. The role offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus and a competitive pay model with tips.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Six months serving experience preferred.
• TIPS certification training available.

Responsibilities

• Set up bars for shift, stock and clean work area.
• Take beverage orders from customers and servers; enter drinks accurately.
• Follow standard drink recipes and proper glassware/portion sizes.
• Adhere to alcohol service laws and do not serve intoxicated guests.
• Balance cash at end of shift and complete cash-out procedures.
• Upsell food and beverages to patrons.
• Prepare requisitions and inventories at shift end.
• Lock up products when necessary.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Ensure the bars are set up for the shift, cleaned and stocked.
• Takes beverage orders from the customers and servers and ensures all drinks are rung in before any are prepared.
• Follows the standard drink recipes, using the proper glassware and portions.
• Adheres to all the laws pertaining to the serving of alcoholic beverages and dealing with guests.
• Intoxicated persons must never be served.
• Balances cash at the end of their shift and follow the standard procedure for cashing out.
• Keeps bar, counters, and work areas clean always.
• Upsells food and beverage to patrons.
• Prepares requisitions and inventories as required at the end of the shift.
• Locks up product when necessary.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have previous serving experience and knowledge that includes:

• High School education or equivalent experience
• Six months experience as a server preferred
• Prior money handling experience preferred
• Ability and willingness to work at both the Central City and Black Hawk properties
• Must be flexible to work any schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• TIPS Certification - We will train you!

Salary $16.27+ tips
