Job summary

Maverick-Colorado-LLC in Central City, Colorado is seeking an energetic server for our busy bar and restaurant. You will take beverage orders, follow recipes, and ensure accurate ringing of drinks.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean work areas, handling cash, upselling items, and assisting with inventory at shift end. Flexible weekend/evening availability is required; prior serving exp preferred and TIPS training provided.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent experience.
• Six months experience as a server preferred.
• Prior money handling experience preferred.
• Ability and willingness to work at both the Central City and Black Hawk properties.
• Must be flexible to work any schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• TIPS Certification – We will train you!

Responsibilities

• Ensure the bars are set up for the shift, cleaned and stocked.
• Takes beverage orders from the customers and servers and ensures all drinks are rung in before any are prepared.
• Follows the standard drink recipes, using the proper glassware and portions.
• Adheres to all the laws pertaining to the serving of alcoholic beverages and dealing with guests.
• Intoxicated persons must never be served.
• Balances cash at the end of their shift and follow the standard procedure for cashing out.
• Keeps bar, counters, and work areas clean always.
• Upsells food and beverage to patrons.
• Prepares requisitions and inventories as required at the end of the shift.
• Locks up product when necessary.

Salary $16.27+ tips
