Job summary

Monarch Housing Associates in Cranford, NJ is seeking a CoC Team Associate to manage multiple Continuum of Care contracts across New Jersey and coordinate time-limited projects.

You will lead grant applications, facilitate meetings, provide technical assistance on HUD regulations, analyze PIT counts, and contribute to local plans to end homelessness. Some travel within NJ is required; full-time, with benefits.

Qualifications

  • High degree of organizational skills and multi-tasking.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience engaging diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to follow directions and meet tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable with public speaking in small and large groups.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel within New Jersey with a valid driver’s license.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare annual Continuum of Care grant applications and lead local allocations processes.
  • Attend and facilitate community meetings to support planning.
  • Prepare materials to discuss local needs and strategies.
  • Facilitate advisory board meetings with lived experience participants.
  • Provide technical assistance on CoC HUD regulations.
  • Assist in planning and analyzing annual Point-in-Time counts.
  • Advise on allocation strategies for homeless service funding.
  • Evaluate local homeless systems and recommend improvements.
  • Develop, write, or contribute to reports and testimony on homelessness.
  • Support development and implementation of local plans to end homelessness.
