Community Grants, Planning & Housing (CGP&H) seeks an Affordable Housing Manager to lead portfolio management for inclusionary housing programs across New Jersey. You will coordinate with municipalities, internal staff, and external partners to ensure regulatory compliance and effective program delivery.

The role requires 5+ years in related fields, with NJ experience preferred. A master’s degree can substitute for experience; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in affordable housing or related programs.
• Background in community development or municipal planning.
• Policy development and implementation experience.
• Experience with public/private partnerships.
• Strong compliance, QA, or CQI background.
• 5+ years in relevant fields; NJ experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex affordable housing portfolios across New Jersey.
• Serve as regulatory subject matter expert for municipal clients.
• Collaborate with municipalities and internal staff to meet program goals.
• Interface with planners, attorneys, developers, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance.
