Job summary

Communications Construction Group, LLC is seeking a Coax Splicer for Mt Laurel, NJ. You will perform aerial and underground cable splicing, testing, activating, and troubleshooting equipment after installation, ensuring compliance with standards.

The role requires a valid driver's license, ability to pass a DOT physical, and 6 months of coax splicing or 1 year telecom experience. A safety-conscious, hands-on environment is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months coax splicing experience or one year in telecom.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean record.
• DOT medical card required.

Responsibilities

• With guidance, perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot equipment post-installation.
• Ensure all splicing operations meet customer and industry standards.
• Safely navigate working at different heights, from underground to the air.
• Complete basic daily maintenance of vehicles, including fluid checks.
• Document work performed through daily production reports and material usage records.
• Other duties as assigned.
