Job summary

Communications Construction Group, LLC is seeking a Coax Splicer in Mount Laurel, NJ to splice coax networks for internet, cable TV, and telephone services. You’ll work on aerial and underground installations with guidance, ensuring safety and adherence to industry standards.

Responsibilities include testing, activating, and troubleshooting equipment after installation, documenting daily work, and maintaining vehicles and tools. A valid DOT medical card and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Six months of coax splicing experience or one year of experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Valid State driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam for a valid medical card.

Responsibilities

• With guidance, perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot equipment post-installation.
• Ensure all splicing operations meet customer and industry standards.
• Safely navigate working at different heights, from underground to in the air.
• Complete basic daily maintenance of vehicles, including fluid checks.
• Document work performed through daily production reports, including marking up maps and keeping material usage records.
• Other duties as assigned
