Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC is hiring a Coax Splicer in Minnesota. You will perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground, and test and troubleshoot equipment post-installation.

You must have at least six months coax splicing experience or one year in telecom, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license with a clean record. The role offers weekly pay, PTO, and a 401(k) with company match, plus education reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Six months of coax splicing experience or one year in the telecommunications industry.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• With guidance, perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot equipment post-installation.
• Ensure all splicing operations meet customer and industry standards.
• Safely navigate working at different heights, from underground to in the air.
• Complete basic daily maintenance of vehicles and document work via daily reports.
