MasTec Communications Group is seeking a motivated Coax Splicer to join our field team. You will splice, sweep, troubleshoot coax, and support node optimizations on outdoor utility construction sites.

We value safety, hands-on problem solving, and a quality-first mindset. Compensation ranges are $26-$28 per hour with overtime, plus benefits including 401(k), ESPP, life insurance, and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Safety is a value you live by.
• 1–3 years of coax splicing and sweeping experience.
• Comfort working on a ladder or bucket truck.
• Strong problem-solving and hands-on approach.
• Track record of high-quality work.
• Flexible with overtime and varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Splice, sweep, and troubleshoot existing aerial and underground coaxial cable.
• Optimize new Nodes and splice in node splits to reduce capacity.
• Read CATV design and prints; understand schematics.
• Work on outdoor utility construction sites.
