Job summary

MasTec Communications Group is seeking a Coax Splicer to join our outdoor utility construction team in North Carolina. You will splice, sweep, and troubleshoot coaxial cables, read CATV designs, and work on new node builds with RF meters and TDR.

You must have 1–3 years of splicing experience, be comfortable with ladder or bucket truck, and possess a valid driver’s license with the ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card. Flexibility for overtime is required.

Responsibilities

• Optimize node deployments and perform node splits to manage capacity.
• Read and interpret CATV design and prints.
• Work on outdoor utility construction sites.
