Job summary

Kanaan Communications, LLC is hiring a Coax Splicer II to join our telecommunications construction team. You will splice coaxial networks for internet, cable TV, and phone services, performing both aerial and underground work.

You’ll test and troubleshoot post-installation equipment, ensure safety and standard compliance, and maintain vehicles. A valid US work authorization, DOT medical card, and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Two years coax splicing experience required.
• Certified pole climber preferred, capable of demonstrating proficiency.
• Knowledge of telecommunications network structure.
• Must pass DOT physical and have a valid medical card.
• Authorized to work in the United States for the company.

Responsibilities

• Perform splicing of coaxial cable aerial and underground.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot equipment post-installation.
• Ensure splicing operations meet customer/industry standards.
• Safely work at heights from underground to aerial locations.
• Maintain vehicles and perform daily fluid checks.
• Document work via daily production reports and maps.
