Job summary

CableCom, LLC is seeking a qualified Coax Splicer II to splice coaxial cables for internet, cable TV and phone networks, performing aerial and underground work, testing, activating and troubleshooting after installation.

Required: 18+, work authorization in the U.S., a high school diploma or GED (or relevant experience), a valid state driver’s license with a clean record, ability to pass a DOT medical exam, and at least two years of coax splicing experience; knowledge of telecom network

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• Valid State driver's license with a clean driving record.
• DOT medical examination required; valid medical card.
• At least two years of coax splicing experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks associated with electronic upgrades and splicing of coaxial cable, both aerial and underground.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot equipment post-installation.
• Ensure all splicing operations meet customer and industry standards.
• Safely navigate at heights, from underground to aerial work.
• Complete basic daily maintenance of vehicles and conduct field documentation.
