Kanaan Communications, LLC is seeking a Coax Splicer II in Morgantown, WV to splice coaxial networks for telecom services. You will perform aerial and underground splicing, test and troubleshoot installations, and document work in daily production reports.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of coax splicing experience.
• Ability to perform splicing both aerial and underground.
• Knowledge of telecom network structure.
• Able to pass DOT medical exam and maintain medical card.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks associated with electronic upgrades and splicing of coaxial cable, both aerial and underground
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot equipment post-installation
• Ensure all splicing operations meet strict customer and industry standards
• Safely navigate working at different heights, from underground to in the air
• Complete basic daily maintenance of vehicles, including fluid checks
• Document work performed through daily production reports, including marking up maps and keeping correct material usage records
• Other duties as assigned
