Job summary

Axalta Coating Systems is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support production by operating equipment, handling raw materials, and following detailed work instructions to ensure safe, high‑quality output.

Responsibilities include batch-card adherence, safety compliance, hazard material management, and basic troubleshooting within a fast-paced 12-hour rotating shift. Background check and drug testing are required.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
Experience with Hazardous Materials or Chemicals is highly preferred.
Must be able to pass Background Check & Drug Test.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain production equipment for bulk paint loading.
Follow batch cards, written instructions and SOPs to manufacture products.
Measure, weigh, and handle raw materials used in production.
Follow plant safety standards, policies, and environmental requirements.
Safely handle hazardous materials and manage hazardous waste.
Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on production equipment; qualified for advanced tasks.
Use computer systems and production software to support operations.
Maintain production quality standards and documentation.
Work collaboratively within a self-managed team environment.
Adapt to changing production priorities and business needs.
