Axalta Coating Systems is seeking a Production Technician for chemical mixing on 2nd or 3rd shift in High Point, NC. The role requires 1+ year in a plant/manufacturing environment and will involve training on the 1st shift before moving to 2nd shift.

Background & Eligibility

Background: Must be able to pass a Background Check and Drug Screen (No Exceptions).
Important: We are seeking candidates with at least 1 years’ experience in a Plant or Manufacturing environment. Operators, Assembly Line, Production, etc) Forklift experience is a plus, but not necessary. We will train on Forklift. CHEMICALS EXPERIENCE IS A HUGE PLUS!

Shift & Hours

Shift: We are seeking candidates for 2nd or 3RD Shift.
Hours: (2:00pm to 10:30pm – 2nd Shift) (10:00 to 6:30am – 3rd Shift).
IMPORTANT: CANDIDATE WILL TRAIN ON 1’ST SHIFT, BUT AFTER BEING FULLY TRAINED, WILL MOVE TO 2’nd SHIFT.

Compensation

We offer: 2nd Shift: Mon – Fri 2:00pm – 10:30pm 3rd Shift – Monday – Fri 10:0pm to 6:30am.
Hourly starting wage rate of $22.50 / hour Shift Differential of $1.25 for 2nd Shift.

Required Assessments

Candidates will need to pass a Basic Math & Reading Comprehension assessment before being interviewed (No Exceptions).
Candidate will need to pass a Pre-Employment Physical.

• Regulate machines, operate equipment and mix or blend ingredients according to formulation batch cards accurately to meet production and/or inventory levels.
• Maintain highest level of quality at all times.
• Collect samples from batch for laboratory testing.
• Responsible to clean machine and workstation after each job.
