Job summary

Axalta Coating Systems in Chillicothe, OH is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for the overnight shift (10:30pm–7:00am). The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years in manufacturing, strong computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs while following SOPs and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include operating pumps, agitators, stages, and viscosity checks; loading tanks from 5 to 500 gallons; and maintaining equipment and housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting preferred.
• Proficiency in basic computer tasks and data entry.
• Willingness to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an environment with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Operate/monitor pumps, agitators, shakers, scales, and viscosity measurements.
• Calibrate scales daily and maintain housekeeping in the area.
• Load and unload materials between tanks and totes; assist with equipment cleaning.
• Follow SOPs, safety rules, and documentation; train others as needed.
