Job Description

Our client, a leading innovator in engineered heat treating, brazing, and metal finishing solutions, is seeking a Coating Technician for their plant in Willoughby, Ohio.

Shift: 2nd Shift, 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Note: Must be able to train on 1st shift. This is a temporary position.

Responsibilities

• Properly prepare Gopalite slurry, binder, and additives for the mixing process.
• Load and unload parts as per work instructions.
• Master basic coating operations to meet production goals.
• Follow production schedules.
• Monitor equipment gauges and report anomalies.
• Maintain lot control.
• Use measurement instruments proficiently.
• Log daily activities.
• Perform material handling using forklifts or load carts.
• Assist with production on Belt Furnaces.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic math and mechanical knowledge.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs occasionally.
