Position: Coating Foreman in Tampa, FL

As a Coating Foreman, you will serve as the primary communication link between the superintendent and field craft. This role requires excellent communication skills and a thorough understanding of all field tasks and processes. You must communicate effectively with owners, vendors, and contractors, conveying project objectives, timelines, and updates, and addressing concerns promptly.

What You Will Be Doing

• Effectively communicate daily work expectations to team members
• Identify when and where to perform abrasive blasting, water blasting, injection grouting, coatings, holiday testing, and adhesion testing
• Lead and coach team members during STAC meetings
• Communicate professionally with clients, contractors, and vendors
• Assess conditions and issues accurately and determine corrective actions, reporting to the superintendent
• Manage team members' personal needs and earn their respect
• Communicate effectively with the Senior Technician and Superintendent
• Understand project schedule requirements and the impact of actions on costs
• Utilize team skillsets effectively and motivate team performance
• Lead by example, demonstrating initiative and professionalism

What We Are Looking For

• Ability to safely drive a pickup truck with a trailer
• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment on-site
• Source, order, and maintain inventories of consumables, PPE, and rental equipment
• Calibrate confined space monitoring equipment
• Coordinate equipment repairs with vendors
• Participate in work planning meetings with the Superintendent
• Confined Space Competent Person certification
• Coordinate logistics effectively
• 3-5 years of experience in high-performance coating applications
• Experience leading crews
