Job Title: IT Financial Management Technician
Job Location: Tampa, FL (Remote)
Job Type: Contract (Through 12/31/25)
Position Summary:
The IT Financial Management Technician is responsible for the precise and efficient creation, tracking, and reconciliation of IT purchase requisitions (PRs), purchase orders (POs), and vendor invoices using SAP S/4HANA and FieldGlass. This role supports end-to-end financial processing for IT purchases, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal standards and financial controls.
Working closely with IT stakeholders, functional teams, Accounts Payable, and external vendors, the Technician ensures effective procurement and vendor payment operations across multiple sites with global reach.

Key Responsibilities:
Purchase Requisition & Procurement Management:

  • Create accurate and complete purchase requisitions using SAP S/4HANA and FieldGlass based on inputs from multiple sources.
  • Maintain detailed and updated records of PRs/POs using tracking spreadsheets and templates.
  • Monitor the full PR-to-PO-to-invoice lifecycle, identifying and resolving delays or discrepancies.
  • Document process flows, issues, and resolutions for future reference and process improvement.
  • Proactively engage stakeholders and vendors to ensure smooth requisition processing.

Vendor Communication Management:

  • Manage the IT Vendor Inbox, prioritize emails related to PR execution, and direct inquiries to the appropriate teams.
  • Coordinate with Accounts Payable to investigate and respond to vendor payment inquiries.
  • Maintain organized records of all vendor communications and propose improvements for response timeliness.

Invoice Reconciliation:

  • Process and track non-PO vendor invoices, ensuring accurate accounting information and proper approval routing.
  • Monitor SAP S/4HANA for PO and non-PO invoice posting dates.
  • Ensure all invoices are aligned with procurement documentation for audit readiness and reconciliation.

Qualifications:
Education:

  • Associate’s degree in business administration or related field required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Certifications:

  • Formal training in SAP S/4HANA and FieldGlass required

Experience:

  • Proven experience working with SAP platforms, including SAP S/4HANA and FieldGlass
  • Experience with Ariba Business Network (BN) preferred
  • Familiarity with global IT procurement processes

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
