Job summary

Fm Industries in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Coating Equipment Technician to support coatings production, maintenance and engineering for Thermal spray torch assemblies and related systems, robotics, data collection and preventive maintenance programs.

Ideal candidates will have a technical background, robot operation training, SPC knowledge and strong communication skills. This full-time on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 2 Year Technical School or equivalent completed.
• Similar past job experience is preferred.
• Robot Operation and Maintenance training; ABB certification or experience preferred.
• Familiar with fundamentals of Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Semiconductor industry experience desired; however, Other industrial manufacturing experience considered.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent reading, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance and repair for thermal spray and related equipment.
• Collaborate with Operations to resolve problems.
• Assist in training coating operations staff and future training programs.
• Maintain data collection equipment and analyze coating cubicle parameters.
• Calibrate robots annually as required.
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance procedures for coating systems.
• Ensure safe work practices and compliance with EH&S policies.
• Understand and support safety processes like JSA and MOC.
• Other duties as needed.
