Job summary

Bodycote is seeking a maintenance technician to support industrial facilities and equipment. The role requires performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting thermal spray equipment, and repairing high-voltage systems while ensuring safety procedures are followed.

A technical degree with 3–5 years of experience is preferred, along with the ability to read schematics. Applicants should be able to work in an industrial environment, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate a CMMS for task tracking.

Qualifications

• This position requires a college or technical degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance where possible, plus 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to read equipment schematics and interpret diagrams is required.
• Experience with thermal spray technology and general industrial technologies is a plus.
• ITAR compliance requires U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and execute preventative maintenance programs to keep facilities and equipment in good condition.
• Troubleshoot and perform repairs on thermal spray equipment and related systems.
• Repair vacuum furnaces, leak tests, pump/motor components, heating elements, and thermocouples.
• Operate and understand Fanuc robots; handle high voltage 480 VAC and controls circuits.
• Log work in the maintenance management system and maintain environmental records.
• Follow safety rules, PPE, lockout/tagout, and tie-off procedures.
• Move and use common hand or power tools to complete tasks.
