Job summary
AAA United States Inc is hiring a Thermal Spray Technician in Jupiter, Florida, to support aerospace manufacturing and gas turbine component repair programs. You will operate robotic spray equipment, prepare components, and program automated coating systems in a safety‑conscious environment.
Ideal candidates have 2+ years in thermal spray or related manufacturing, experience with GTV/Sulzer Metco systems, and familiarity with FANUC/ABB/KUKA robots; programming and blueprints reading are
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years in thermal spray or aerospace manufacturing.
- Experience with GTV or Sulzer Metco coating systems.
- Familiarity with HVOF, plasma spray or TBC coatings.
- Experience operating or programming FANUC/ABB/KUKA robots is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
Responsibilities
- Operate robotic thermal spray equipment to apply protective coatings.
- Prepare components by blasting, masking, cleaning, and fixture setup.
- Program and monitor automated coating systems and robotics cells.
- Inspect coating thickness and quality per specs.
- Read blueprints and coating specifications; document production activities.
- Maintain equipment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ensure safety and quality procedures are followed.
