Job summary

Shaw Industries in Georgia seeks a Department Manager to lead the Coating operation, drive safety, quality, and productivity, and develop frontline leaders in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will partner with engineering, maintenance, quality, and production teams to optimize performance, coach a team of managers, operators, and technicians, and guide continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Four year college degree (Engineering degree preferred).
Manufacturing Department management experience.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and monitor coating production schedules to meet delivery timelines and quality standards.
Oversee equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and downtime reduction.
Ensure adherence to production specifications and customer requirements.
Manage, coach, and mentor a team of Coating Team Managers, operators, and technicians.
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with the Quality team to identify and address quality concerns.
