Job summary

Shaw Industries is hiring a Process Engineer to support the Finishing line at Shaw Plant 4 in Dalton, GA. The role provides technical assistance to supervisors, associates and internal customers daily to improve throughput and quality.

You will manage capital projects, drive TPM initiatives, analyze performance, and coordinate schedules, inventory and trials on the coating line as part of a high-performance manufacturing team.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree required; Engineering degree preferred.
• Strong communication skills (written and oral).
• Strong project management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Previous manufacturing experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Managing capital projects.
• Drive TPM initiatives and cost improvements.
• Investigate off-quality situations.
• Monitor and analyze departmental performance through reports, feedback, and observations.
• Responsible for setting schedules, inventory, daily production, and driving trials on the coating line.
