Job summary

Tailored Brands, Inc. in New Bedford, MA is seeking a Coat Shop Supervisor to lead daily operations of the coat section in our manufacturing floor.

You will supervise, coordinate, and schedule staff, ensure garment quality, and drive production efficiency while upholding safety standards. Ideal candidates have 2–4+ years in Distribution, Supply Chain, or Operations, prior management and manufacturing experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of experience in Distribution, Supply Chain, or Operations.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Bilingual (English/Portuguese/Spanish) preferred.
• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities; keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and schedule daily activities for staff in the section.
• Maintain safe working environment through housekeeping and training.
• Report incidents, accidents and near misses; train staff in safety procedures.
• Ensure garments manufactured to current methods and meet quality targets.
• Meet weekly quality, production and efficiency targets.
• Staff the section to meet production goals; manage absences and cross-train.
• Coordinate flow of work with other sections; report progress on goals.
• Work with HR on discipline of underperforming employees.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects and 6S.
• Deliver weekly section meetings and attend training on changes.
