Job summary

Fripp Island Golf & Beach Resort is seeking a groundskeeper to maintain the resort grounds and homes on the landscaping program. You will mow, weed, prune, and perform general outdoor maintenance to keep the property attractive and safe.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to stand, sit and/or walk a minimum of 12 hours daily.
• This position requires complete mobility and the ability to withstand extreme outdoor environments.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Mowing, edging, and watering lawns.
• Weeding, mulching, and planting landscape beds.
• Trimming and removing trees, hedges, shrubs and other plants.
• Perform general maintenance duties such as clearing walkways, decks, and driveways.
• Ensure grounds are free of weeds and dead plants.
• Monitor property grounds to ensure a pleasant appearance.
• Grade and prepare planting beds, lay sod, plant materials and seed.
• Perform daily maintenance on all equipment used according to the established maintenance schedule.
• Operate company trucks and equipment in compliance with established safety procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
