Job summary

Provident Bank in Wall Township, NJ is seeking a Personal Banker (Float) to join the Coastal Region. The role blends transactional duties with sales, focusing on delivering excellent customer service and growing a book of business.

As a Float, you will travel to Wall Township and nearby branches (Manasquan, Ocean Grove, Asbury Park, Point Pleasant) to cover staffing needs. A high school diploma, 6+ months of sales/service experience, and strong interpersonal skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 6 months+ sales and service experience in customer-facing retail environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexible scheduling and willingness to travel to branches within Coastal Region.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales referrals and cross-sell goals by understanding product features and benefits.
• Promote bank products and refer customers to appropriate departments.
• Manage a book of business and develop relationships with customers.
• Handle transactions, deposits, loan payments, and account openings with accuracy.
• Support branch manager with daily tasks and end-of-day processes.
