Jekyll Island Authority is hiring for Park Services (Full-time) to perform custodial and cleaning tasks across park facilities. The role is a regular full-time position, requiring weekend, holiday, and occasional evening availability, with a 40-hour workweek.

Responsibilities include cleaning restrooms, restocking supplies, pressure washing surfaces, and maintaining public spaces. Benefits include health, vision, dental, and retirement options with the Georgia State Employee Retirement System.

Qualifications

• 6 to 12 months of cleaning/maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment preferred.
• Must be able to follow guidelines and work independently; good communication.
• Manual dexterity to operate cleaning tools and vacuum cleaners.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years old and available on weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial work to maintain buildings and grounds in excellent condition.
• Clean public restrooms, restock supplies, and disinfect surfaces.
• Operate route truck to delivery of cleaning supplies.
• Pressure wash shelters, tables, and walkways as required.
• Assist with special events and routine maintenance tasks.
• Attend training and comply with supervisor directions.
