Jekyll Island Authority is hiring an Aquatics Manager for Summer Waves / Operations on Jekyll Island. The role oversees daily aquatic operations, supervises lifeguards and guards, and maintains the park's safety program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in a water park or similar facility preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be certified as an American Red Cross lifeguard instructor with water park module or equivalent at hire or within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily aquatic operations under the supervision of the Operations Manager.
• Supervise and train aquatics staff (lifeguards and attraction guards).
• Administer and maintain the waterpark’s safety program.
• Review accident/incident reports and respond to emergencies.
• Teach lifeguard certification classes and conduct training.
