Paycom - ATS is hiring a Park Maintenance worker for Mallery Park on Saint Simons Island. The role covers cleaning, landscaping, irrigation maintenance, and basic repairs to facilities and playgrounds.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED with two months of related experience and a valid driver's license. Benefits are provided along with full-time employment.

Responsabilidades

• Empty trash and maintain park grounds and beach accesses.
• Mow, edge, seed, fertilize and water park areas; inspect irrigation.
• Repair fences, benches, playground equipment and paint where needed.
• Keep restrooms stocked and clean; assist with event setup and safety checks.
• Report hazards and assist with seasonal park maintenance tasks.

This is a full-time position and receives all benefits afforded to regular employees. Park Maintenance operates 365 days a year. Holidays and events require flexibility in scheduling.Summary: This position is responsible for performing various tasks involving maintenance of parks, beach accesses, recreational structures, and related facilities at the following location: Mallery Park - Saint Simons Island.Parks:Empty trash and recycling containers; carry/transport trash and recycling to designated areas;Mow and edge park grounds;Seed, fertilize and water park grounds;Apply herbicide and pesticides as directed;Install, inspect and repair irrigation systems;Prune/remove trees and shrubs;Dig hole/trenches and shovel/spread materials;Install/repair and paint fences, benches, and picnic tables;Remove litter and debris from park grounds, including picnic areas, barbeque grills, and cigarette butt receptacles;Remove any small dead animals within the parks;Supply dog parks with waste disposal bags and remove waste collection as necessary;Perform various custodial tasks in park restrooms to include sweeping, mopping and disinfecting surfaces;Replenishing restroom products (soap and paper goods);Visually inspect playground areas and equipment, and report any safety hazards to supervisor;Repair and paint playground equipment as directed.Beaches:Patrol beaches and accesses for litter, debris, and safety hazards;Report safety hazards and any dead/injured wildlife to supervisor;Remove dead animals as directed;Inspect, report, and repair damage to beach access boardwalks and signage;Remove any beach chairs, umbrellas, or tents from the beach, according to county ordinance; install sand fencing, if directed; install/remove Mobi-mats.Review Full Job Description Here: Maintenance WorkerHigh school diploma or GED supplemented by two (2) months of previous experience and/or training involving general building maintenance, general building trades, road construction/maintenance, grounds maintenance, equipment operation, and/or maintenance work in the area of assignment.
