Job summary

JP Logistics & Consulting, LLC (JPLC) is seeking a full-time Training Specialist to support the United States Coast Guard (USCG). The position is based in Elizabeth City, NC with hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

The role focuses on training development, records maintenance, and coordination of training for personnel. The ideal candidate will manage training databases, ensure compliance with standards, and assist with onboarding and certification tracking

Qualifications

• Strong public speaking skills to present to groups.
• Ability to create formal documents and reports.

Responsibilities

• Draft, present, and update training materials and records to ensure personnel meet standards.
• Coordinate training location and schedule training sessions.
• Assist UTO with training data, onboarding, and qualification tracking.
• Monitor training requirements and notify personnel before expirations.
• Maintain training databases and support audits.
