Job summary

Tatitlek Corporation is seeking a Field Engineer to lead a team in the system development, testing, installation, and integration on board US Coast Guard boats and cutters. You will supervise 3–10 technicians, design and modify major units, and perform installation, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical/electronic/C4I systems.

The role requires high organization, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel 60–75% nationwide while collaborating with engineers to ensure drawings

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain/maintain a SECRET clearance.
• High School diploma with 8 years’ experience in USCG or US Navy C4I system installation/integration support.
• Experience with Cable Fabrication (Multi-pin, RF, Network, Power, Fiber, Mil-spec).My
• NavSea cableway and/or connector certification desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 3–10 individuals in system development, testing, installation and/or integration on board Coast Guard vessels.
• Design, develop, and modify major units and equipment; test and report results.
• Perform and supervise electrical/electronic/C4I installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Analyze technical data, prepare layouts, parts lists, and procedures; read installation drawings.
• Supervise installation activities and ensure compliance with drawings and specs.
• Travel between 60% and 75% annually to support fielded systems.
• Assemble project documentation and reporting as required.
