Job summary

The Fort Bend Regional Council on Substance Abuse, Inc. is seeking a Coalition Coordinator for the Fort Bend Community Prevention Coalition (FBCPC).

The role, in-person and full-time, supports program administration, grant activities, data tracking, and community engagement to advance prevention priorities. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Education, Education, Communications, Social Sciences, or related field.
  • Experience working with youth and/or adults in community, school, nonprofit, or related settings.
  • Experience with community outreach, program coordination, events, or grant-funded programs preferred.
  • Knowledge of substance use prevention, public health, or behavioral health preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and social media platforms.

COALITION COORDINATOR

Program: Fort Bend Community Prevention Coalition (FBCPC) Status: In-Person, Full-Time, 40 hours/week; occasional evenings and weekends


ORGANIZATION SUMMARY

The Fort Bend Community Prevention Coalition (FBCPC) unites and coordinates the business processes of local schools, businesses, health care providers, faith-based organizations, law enforcement, social service agencies, and other community partners to prevent and reduce youth substance use and promote healthy, safe communities. FBCPC is a program of The Fort Bend Regional Council on Substance Abuse, Inc. (FBRC).


JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Coalition Director, the Coalition Coordinator provides program, grant, administrative, and community engagement support to advance FBCPC’s mission and strategic priorities. The Coordinator works closely with the Coalition Director, coalition staff and program evaluators to implement grant-funded activities, support community partnerships, track deliverables, collect data, maintain documentation, and assist with reporting requirements.
