Job summary

St Augustine Youth Services (SAYS) seeks a compassionate Master Level Clinician to provide clinical services to youth in the COACHES program onsite. You will serve as primary therapist for a caseload of about 12–15 youths, delivering individual, group, and family therapy while developing treatment plans and maintaining meticulous documentation.

Join a multidisciplinary team, collaborate with families and professionals, and respond to crises as needed.

Qualifications

  • Two years of clinical experience working with children or adolescents.
  • Ability to manage crisis situations effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to develop treatment plans and maintain clinical documentation.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background screenings.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy per youth treatment plans.
  • Develop and maintain treatment plans, updates, and session notes.
  • Utilize Wraparound Model with case managers and families.
  • Participate in Treatment Team Meetings and Wraparound meetings.
  • Present cases clearly and communicate clinical issues to the team.
  • Respond to crisis situations by phone or in person when scheduled.
  • Follow clinical direction from supervisors and directors.
  • Maintain caseload to meet program expectations and schedule sessions.
  • Maintain timely documentation per policies and contractual requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

St. Augustine Youth Services (SAYS) is seeking a compassionate and experienced Master Level Clinician to join our COACHES program. This is an onsite, exempt position providing clinical services to children and adolescents with behavioral health needs and working collaboratively with families, treatment teams, and community professionals.If you are looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of youth and families while working as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, we encourage you to apply!What You'll DoAs a COACHES Master Level Clinician, you will serve as the primary therapist for an assigned caseload of approximately 12–15 youth.Your responsibilities will include:Provide individual, group, and family therapy in accordance with each youth's treatment plan.Develop and maintain treatment plans, treatment plan updates, session notes, and other required clinical documentation.Utilize the Wraparound Model in collaboration with Case Managers, Peer Specialists/Mentors, families, and identified natural supports.Participate in Treatment Team Meetings and review treatment plans with youth and families during Wraparound meetings.Clearly present cases and communicate effectively regarding clinical issues with treatment team members and other professionals in the community.Respond appropriately to clinical and behavioral health crisis situations, including providing crisis response by phone or in person when scheduled.Follow clinical direction from the Clinical Supervisor, consulting psychiatrist, psychologist, and Clinical Director.Maintain a caseload that meets applicable program and contract expectations.Conduct therapy sessions at the frequency identified in each youth's treatment plan.Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with organizational policies and contractual requirements.Follow all SAYS policies, procedures, and clinical standards.Perform other duties as assigned.What We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsMaster's degree in Social Work or a related field of study.Two years of clinical experience working with children or adolescents with behavioral health needs.Ability to effectively manage and respond to crisis situations.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to develop treatment plans and maintain appropriate clinical documentation.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.Valid driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check.Ability to successfully complete required background screenings, including a Level 2 background screening and drug screening.ScheduleThis is a 40-hour-per-week position. While the primary work schedule is generally during standard business hours, the clinician must have the flexibility to schedule services outside of 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. and Monday–Friday when needed to meet the needs of youth and families.Scheduled on-call responsibilities may also be required, including responding to crises by phone or in person.Why Join SAYS?At St. Augustine Youth Services, your work directly impacts the lives of children and families in our community.
