Job summary

St Augustine Youth Services (SAYS) is seeking a compassionate Master’s Level Therapist to join our Community Assessment & Treatment (CAT) team in St. Augustine, FL.

You will provide trauma-informed clinical services to children and adolescents, serving as the primary therapist for a caseload of up to 18 youths. You will collaborate with families, case managers, peer supports, and multidisciplinary team members, develop treatment plans, participate in team meetings, and respond to crises.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work or related field.
  • At least two years of clinical experience with children/adolescents with behavioral health needs.
  • Ability to assess and respond to crisis situations.
  • Ability to develop and write treatment plans.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to present cases and communicate clinically with the treatment team.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
  • Ability to complete Level 2 background screening and drug screening.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy aligned with each child's treatment plan.
  • Serve as primary therapist for up to 18 youth.
  • Utilize Wraparound Model with Case Managers, Peer Specialists/Mentors, families, and supports.
  • Develop and maintain treatment plans and complete updates, progress notes, and reports.
  • Attend and participate in Treatment Team Meetings.
  • Review treatment plans and progress with families during Wraparound meetings.
  • Collaborate with team members and community professionals on clinical needs.
  • Follow direction from Clinical Supervisor, consulting psychiatrist, psychologist, and Clinical Director.
  • Respond to crisis situations and provide crisis intervention by phone or in person.
  • Participate in scheduled on-call responsibilities.
  • Maintain compliant documentation and organizational policies.
  • Schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday with potential after-hours flexibility to meet needs of youth and families.

This is an opportunity to provide meaningful, trauma-informed clinical services to children and adolescents with behavioral health needs while working closely with families, case managers, peer supports, and other professionals.The ideal candidate is a strong clinician who can build therapeutic relationships with youth and families, respond effectively to crisis situations, and work collaboratively within a Wraparound Model.What You'll DoAs a CAT Master’s Level Therapist, you will serve as the primary therapist for up to 18 youth, providing individualized clinical services based on each child's treatment plan.Your responsibilities will include:Provide individual, group, and family therapy consistent with each child's treatment plan and program requirements.Serve as the primary therapist for an assigned caseload of up to 18 youth.Utilize the Wraparound Model in collaboration with Case Managers, Peer Specialists/Mentors, families, and identified natural supports.Develop and maintain treatment plans and complete required updates, progress notes, session documentation, and reports.Attend and actively participate in Treatment Team Meetings.Review treatment plans and clinical progress with families during Wraparound meetings.Collaborate with treatment team members and community professionals regarding clinical needs and services.Follow clinical direction provided by the Clinical Supervisor, consulting psychiatrist, psychologist, and Clinical Director.Respond appropriately to crisis situations and provide crisis intervention by phone or in person when needed.Participate in scheduled on-call responsibilities.Maintain compliance with all organizational policies, procedures, and applicable requirements.Maintain timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate documentation.Perform other duties as assigned.ScheduleThis is a 40-hour-per-week position.
