Job summary

Kinder Morgan, Inc. is seeking a shift-based SCADA operator near Cortez, CO to remotely monitor and control CO2 production assets. You will use SCADA systems to ensure safe, compliant operations and coordinate production volumes with maintenance activities.

Requirements include a high school diploma, basic math skills, and a valid driver license. Gas compression experience and SCADA familiarity are preferred. This role requires rotating 12-hour shifts and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Gas compression experience preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver license.
• Experience in a 24x7x365 work environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control CO2 production facilities using Kinder Morgan’s SCADA systems.
• Respond to abnormal conditions and emergency situations per plan.
• Communicate critical information to Field Operations and Management.
• Monitor pressures, temperatures, flow rates, and other SCADA data.
• Coordinate production volumes to meet pipeline delivery demand.
• Ensure smooth shift turnovers and timely handoffs.
