Job summary

Kinder Morgan, Inc. is seeking a shift-based operator to remotely monitor and control CO2 and crude oil pipeline operations using SCADA systems. You will respond to abnormalities, emergencies, and coordinate with Field Operations and third-party operators, ensuring accurate nominations and schedules.

The role requires basic math, a valid driver license, strong communication, and a team-first mindset. A DOT drug screen and background check are required after offer; 24x7 operations with 12-hour

Qualifications

• Must have basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver license.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
• Must complete and maintain Operator Qualification training and testing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CO2 and Crude Oil pipelines using SCADA systems.
• Respond to abnormal conditions and emergencies per plan.
• Communicate critical information to Field Operations and Management.
• Ensure pump schedules, batch sizes and nominations are accurate.
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance across activities.
• Support shift turnovers with clear written and verbal handovers.
• Pursue continuous process improvement and efficiency gains.
