Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking an experienced Project Manager for CO2 refrigeration start-up and commissioning in Phoenix. You will lead technical execution, coordinate with clients and contractors, and ensure compliance with AMS specs and industry standards.

Responsibilities include planning, budgeting, and delivering projects on time while maintaining safety and quality. Extensive travel (90–100%) is required, with opportunities for growth in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience startup and commissioning of CO2 refrigeration systems.
• 10+ years in refrigeration industry.
• Ability to troubleshoot and see projects to completion.
• Knowledge of EMS and related controls (Danfoss, Danfoss controllers).
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, P&IDs.

Responsibilities

• Create or follow a detailed project execution plan (PEP) and sequence activities.
• Coordinate onsite projects with customers, contractors, and teams.
• Provide technical guidance on refrigeration systems and ensure AMS specs and standards.
• Develop and implement a client reporting plan and maintain stakeholder updates.
• Determine resources and manage budget to meet project margins.
• Travel to job sites 90-100% of time and document reports for clients.
• Stay updated on CO2 refrigeration trends and technologies.
• Ensure safety standards and company policies are followed.
