Job summary

Alpha is hiring instructional facilitators to co-run a full public-school classroom alongside a district teacher in Houston or Springfield. You will design project-based workshops, motivate students, and model new practices in real time within Alpha’s learning framework.

You bring at least 3 years of classroom leadership and a track record coaching peers, with the ability to build ownership, accountability, and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years as the primary teacher responsible for a full-size public-school classroom.
• Experience leading or coaching other educators in a public-school setting.
• Experience designing and delivering project-based learning units from scratch.
• Ability to build a classroom culture based on ownership, clear expectations, accountability, and motivation.
• Willingness to work in person at a participating public school in Springfield, MA or Houston, TX.

Responsibilities

• Run the classroom alongside a district teacher, co-owning day-to-day outcomes and culture.
• Cultivate a student-led culture with clear goals, live data, and incentives.
• Design original project-based workshops to develop future-ready skills.
• Coach through practice, providing real-time feedback to build partner teacher capacity.
• Monitor daily data to adjust approaches for improved student outcomes.
