Job summary

Alpha hires educators to co-lead full public-school classrooms, partnering with district-employed teachers to run the Alpha model. You’ll motivate students, design workshops, and develop future-ready skills in a hands-on, collaborative setting.

This is a full-time, in-person role in Springfield, MA or Houston, TX, with a strong emphasis on coaching peers, modeling best practices, and using live data to guide instruction.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years as the primary teacher responsible for a full-size public-school classroom.
• Experience leading or coaching other educators in a public-school setting.
• Experience designing and delivering a project-based learning unit from the ground up.
• Demonstrated ability to build a classroom culture based on student ownership and accountability.
• Willingness/ability to work in person at Springfield, MA or Houston, TX.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead the classroom with a district teacher and share responsibility for outcomes.
• Build a student-led culture using goals, data, relationships, and incentives.
• Design original project-based workshops to develop future-ready skills.
• Coach through action and help the partner teacher gain confidence.
• Track daily student data and adjust approaches accordingly.
