Job summary

The Exploris School in downtown Raleigh seeks an Exceptional Children (Special Education) teacher to work with K-8 students in inclusion and pull-out settings. You will co-teach with general education teachers, design specialized instruction, and use data to drive instruction.

Candidates must hold NC teaching licensure and be eligible to teach in North Carolina. The role emphasizes collaboration, MTSS, and ongoing professional development within a project-based learning framework.

Qualifications

• Licensed and eligible to teach in North Carolina.
• Experience with inclusion and pull-out special education settings.
• Ability to develop and implement IEP goals and related services.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Eligibility and IEP meetings and develop IEPs.
• Deliver specialized instruction for inclusion and pull-out settings.
• Communicate progress with families and service providers.
• Maintain up-to-date records and progress notes.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams and MTSS process.
• Supervise EC TAs and ensure services align with IEPs.
