Job summary

Wonderspring, a nonprofit early childhood education organization, seeks a dedicated Early Head Start Co-Teacher for our Pottstown Center (Toddler Classroom). You will partner with a co-teacher to plan activities, supervise, and provide caregiving while building strong relationships with families and staff.

The role requires teamwork, flexibility, and adherence to privacy and childcare regulations. Clearances and TB screening are required before employment.

Qualifications

• Infant/Toddler CDA credential (or willingness to earn it with a free course).
• 2+ years of experience working with children, infants and toddlers preferred.
• Strong teamwork and flexibility.
• Ability to keep information private.
• Basic knowledge of childcare rules.
• Must obtain all required clearances and complete a Health Assessment with TB screening prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with a co-Teacher to plan and implement lesson plans and activities.
• Share responsibility for all aspects of the classroom, including care, supervision, and learning experiences.
• Provide responsive caregiving (feeding, diapering, sleep routines).
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Observe and document children's development.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
