Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring a Law Enforcement Crisis Counselor (QP or LPC) in Burlington, NC. The role embeds a mental health professional with law enforcement to co-respond to behavioral health calls, assist with de-escalation, assessment, and linkage to resources.

A Qualified Professional or Licensed Professional Counselor with crisis experience is required. The position requires a NC Qualified Professional license or higher, with a related bachelor's or master's degree and relevant

Qualifications

• Must meet the requirements of a Qualified Professional in NC.

Responsibilities

• Provides support to individuals with mental health and/or substance use issues in home, school, workplace and community.
• Interventions focus on recovery, coping skills, and quality of life.
• Facilitates relationships and links between individuals, the company, families, guardians, local agencies and the community.
• Minimizes the negative effects of psychiatric symptoms or substance dependence that interfere with daily living.
• Supports the client in developing daily living, socialization, adaptation, and behavior management skills.
• Performing case management and arranging services and referrals.
• Collaborates with clinical staff to ensure effective service delivery.
